How We Do It
Donations
CLC relies solely on donations and grants. Thank you to all of our donors and grantors for making CLC possible.

- Richard J. and Marie Reynolds Foundation
- Winston Salem Foundation
- Govenor's Crime Commission
- The Women’s Fund

- Governor’s Crime Commission

Grants
CLC was honored to receive a $10,000 grant and an additional $25,000 matching grant from interest on Lawyer's Trust Accounts (IOLTA). The North Carolina State Bar Plan for IOLTA was established by the North Carolina State Bar and the North Carolina Supreme Court to generate income from lawyers' trust accounts in order to fund programs for public benefit.
Attorneys in 2010
Lawyers from seven Winston-Salem law firms volunteered over 200 pro bono hours for CLC in 2010.
Volunteers
Wake Forest University School of Law Child Advocacy Clinic students donate more than 500 hours per semester. If you are interested in learning more about volunteer opportunities, please contact us. Our talented volunteers enable us to serve more children. We welcome your interest.
The Children’s Law Center is the only non-profit legal organization in North Carolina representing the best interests of children in Domestic Violence cases. Help us help them. Don’t let a vulnerable child fall through the cracks.
