Interns

Each semester 5-10 students at the Wake Forest University School of Law participate in a program at the WFU School of Law Child Advocacy Clinic housed at the Children’s Law Center. The students, who work under the supervision of program director, Iris Sunshine and other staff attorneys, have the opportunity to serve vulnerable children while gaining valuable legal experience. The interns draft and file orders, present findings in District Court, and gain insight into legal issues affecting children. In addition, the CLC works with and trains summer interns and volunteers from Elon University School of Law, Notre Dame School of Law and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The CLC applauds our interns who donate hundreds of hours each semester.
