Two New Board Members Added

Allison Tomberlin of Winston– Salem has joined the Board of Directors. Ali has been practicing law in Winston-Salem since 2007. She worked in private practice and in the public sector before joining Beechler Tomberlin. Ali has experience in a broad range of education, business, construction, and employment law matters, including serving as General Counsel to one of the largest school districts in North Carolina and managing the Human Resources Department for an employer with more than 8,000 employees.

In her own words, Ali describes her interest in joining the Board, “The CLC has an important place in our community. I’ve been watching from the sidelines for years and I am excited to join the board at a time when the organization is growing, both geographically and in terms of its mission.“

Cynthia Jarrell of High Point has joined the Board of Directors. Cindy serves as General Counsel for Breaking Limits, LLC, and also has her own practice in Guilford County. Before her current role as General Counsel, Cindy’s practiced with insurance defense litigation firms in Charlotte and Greensboro. Her community service and leadership include serving on boards of several non-profits and fundraising for organizations.

On serving with the CLC, Cindy shares, “I am excited to join the Board of Directors of the CLC at a time when it is expanding its footprint in Guilford County, as I see an opportunity to make a meaningful impact and help more children in need. Our children are our most vulnerable population and quality advocacy is key to helping ensure positive developmental outcomes.”
